Wildlife art and pet portraits

Owain accepts commissions of any pet or group of pets and works
mainly in Acrylic paint on canvas or Illustration board depending on
customer preference. He works directly from photographs supplied
preferably via email and will create an original painting in stunning
detail. Background can be either a plain colour or a blended/ diffused
background. For a specific/ detailed background or if you have any

Poatage and packing for orders within the UK is Free. Paintings are
securely wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard and sent via Royal
Mail Special Delivery (insured). Delivery time is usually under 1 week after
the painting is finished and payment has been recieved. If ordering from
outside the UK please email Owain first for postage rates.

Payment is due when you are happy with your portrait. When the
painting is finished a picture will be sent to you by email for approval.
When you are happy, follow the link in the email to the payments page.
Paypal is preferred but personal cheques are also accepted (mention this
when ordering). The painting will be sent as soon as payment has
cleared.

1. Take several digital pictures (Approx. 10) of your pet(s). Set your
camera to its highest resoloution preferrably 300dpi or higher. The
better the quality and bigger the file size you can get is preferable in
order for the painting to be accurate. see photography tips for advice
on getting good images.

2. Email the images to commissions@georgeart.co.uk together with
your details: Name, email, telephone number and details of what you
require i.e. Size, head or full body, flat or blended background or if
the painting is required for a specific date. If you are unsure Owain
can call or email to give you advice.

3. Once Owain has recieved your images he will email or call you to
confirm your order usually within 2 days and to discuss any questions
or notify you of any problems. Then, when you are happy Owain will
start your portrait.

4. Portraits should take no longer than 3-4 weeks including posting.
If for any reason it will take longer, Owain will email you. Once the
painting is completed Owain will email you a proof for you to approve.
At this time you can notify him if any adjustments need to be made.

5. When you are happy with the painting, email Owain to confirm. He
will then send you a link to the payments page if you wish to pay
using Paypal (or provide an address if you wish to pay by personal
cheque). As soon as payment has cleared, Owain will send you your
painting via Royal Mail Special delivery (insured).
